Activity: We all have certain habits that we perform regularly, often without realizing it. SEL Core Competencies:
Self-awareness: self-management
Self-awareness: Accurate self-perception
Self-awareness: Growth mindset
Self-management: Goal setting

Essential Questions: How can we build or change our habits? How are our habits connected to our identities? How can our habits help us form new identities?
Student Action: Students consider their Identity Statement and the actions they have identified that would reinforce this identity, then cast a vote for themselves by taking one of these actions.
Program Connections: This activity focuses on caring for yourself—a theme that runs through our core programs. To learn more, visit our PROGRAMS page.
